All blog users collaborate on maintaining the tags. It is also possible to collaborate on creating content, and it is in this sense that Traction is also a wiki. Web pages and Microsoft Office documents can be worked on by teams. All previous versions of documents are available to view and compare. Staff have already used the wiki features of Traction to create project documentation and user manuals. Wikis have great potential for non-hierarchical, multi-disciplinary co-operation. It’s not just Wikipedia which has been successful in using a wiki to work together. Companies such as Boeing, BMW and Procter & Gamble are also pioneering the use of wikis (and blogs) to increase openness and collaboration.
